Aurora Fossil Museum

Today I went to a great fossil museum in North Carolina. It was a great fossil museum. You get to dig for shark teeth, shells, coral, and all kinds of cool stuff!!
Down the street about thirty seconds is a great brand new ice cream shop called Frozen Shark. In the fossil museum you can see all the teeth from Megaladon Shark. It also has things from Indian times like arrow heads they made and and other things they made. They even have a screening room.

What People are doing to Sharks.

(The one next to all the people being finned)Look at what terrible things people are doing to sharks. They catch them and take them on the boat cut off the fins and throw them back in the ocean to drown.

I appreciate everything people are doing to help save sharks.

Great White Shark

Great White Sharks are one of the 5 most dangerous sharks in the world. they live in Australia, Africa and California. It weighs 2500lbs, is 15ft long, and swims at speeds up to 25mph. It lives for 30years in temperate seas. Dangerous: yes. Endangered: yes. Its diet is fish, sharks, sea lions, and seals. Some can jump out of the water when attacking prey from beneath. How it attacks is it swims deep under its prey and speeds silently and quickly to its prey and launches its body out of the water with the prey in its mouth. The reason why its body is greyish black on the top is because if a fish looks down it just looks like the deep black ocean and why its stomach is white is because if a fish is under it the fish will look up and think it is just the sun beaming down on the ocean.

Thresher Shark

Why I Started This Blog

I started this blog to show people all the stuff I know about sharks. Lots of people think that sharks mean to hurt us, but they don't. We're actually entering their territory and they're mistaking us for seals on our surf boards and boogie boards and paddle boards. I'm trying to tell people that sharks are dangerous, but they never really mean to hurt us. That's why I started this blog.
